Nínive
Benítez
Nínive Benítez is a self-taught Mexican photographer who has always been passionate about photography but only recently embraced the art form. Her background as a professional ballet dancer has endowed her with a refined sense of beauty, aesthetics and a deep understanding of the fine arts.
Through her lens, Nínive aims to capture women’s power, sensuality, intimacy, and personality. She seeks to project her unique worldview, challenging the societal constraints placed on women. In her work, she addresses how women are often restricted by societal norms disguised as freedom, choice, and equality.
Nínive Benítez’s latest series is a blend of lifestyle, fashion, and elegance, creating visually compelling narratives. Her use of original vintage wood frames, sourced from Mexico City, adds an authentic touch, connecting her work to her roots.
Rodriguez’s approach to photography is deeply personal, driven by a desire to convey the overlooked emotions and stories within his community. With his camera in hand, he navigates the streets of Los Angeles, easily recognized by his signature Summit lowrider fedora and Pendleton, capturing snapshots that reflect the dynamic spirit of the city.
