Joshua
Limon
Joshua Limon, 34 from La Puente in the San Gabriel Valley and now based in Azusa, has carved a niche for himself in street photography. While he’s versatile enough to cover events and weddings, the unscripted moments of street life genuinely capture his heart.
Joshua’s introduction to photography was serendipitous; a childhood curiosity sparked by his mom’s old Kodak disposables evolved into a passion that defined his path. With no formal training, Joshua honed his craft through experimentation and tips from fellow photographers, including notable guidance from Rene that significantly enhanced his black-and-white imagery.
Embracing the philosophy of shooting everything and limiting nothing, Joshua experiments with both black and white and color photography, capturing everything that catches his eye, whether mundane or extraordinary. Music plays a significant role in his creative process, from capturing shots while lost in melodies to editing photos with a soundtrack that drives his vision.
